What does everyone think of this plan Bush has made about the immigrants? I live in Vegas, so there are 2000 and 3000 highschool students downtown marching against it. But we all know they just wanted to get out of school. I feel it's not the greatest idea. Sure it's wrong that there are legal immigrants coming in, and then illegal ones who take advantage of things. Thats not very equal, then again, the consitution doesn't apply to them technically. But, if we legalize all illegal immigrants, thats just asking for trouble. More will start coming in knowing that we'll just hand them a legal paper and say welcome to america. Plus they take all the jobs no one else wants.

The reason they take the jobs no one else wants is because they are illegal. If you make those illegals, legal then they'll want the better jobs and then once again we have no one to perform that labor. I know it makes me sound like a b*^#* but it is true. I don't nessarily think that making the illegals legal will fix everything, but maybe if they get a 3 month work visa or something then some things will be better, like some of the immigrants. I think we should just leave the issue alone, and tell the politicans to take their big noses out of something that is supposed to be illegal anyway, but they have not tried to stop, and it's been working. Besides if they make all of them legal then the government can't keep all of that tax money on them.
-On the issue about the students walking out of school, that's bs. They stood outside City Hall and chanting USA, but then they carry Mexican flags. It also bothers me that the kids would ditch school to do this. They were even being interviewed and they didn't know what was going on. And then they interviewed adults, who were "They should be in school." Blah, the whole situation makes me sick with people.

Indeed, indeed, that all true. I wonder what made them decide to enforce that whole illegal immigrant thing all of a sudden anyways. Sometimes I think Bush is trying to destroy america what with the whole war, the ship ports, and whatever else he comes up with next. Or maybe some terrorist group has his family hostage and is telling him what to do... Did anyone hear any part of the speech he gave in mexico? He had no idea what he was talking about. He was contradicting his own plan in the speech. And yes, the HSers are just as bad. They showed them yelling about freeing Mexico? Umm, Mexico is free...unless there is some secret plot going on that they know about. >_> It must link back to the terrorist group controlling Bush...

Of course it all makes sense now, no one could possibly be that stupid right? I'm sure that the whole thing about him mispronuncating his words is all a clever ploy as well. Hey have you heard this one yet, "Bush must love sex because he's screwing this country."

Do you want us to build a wall on the border? That would be like isolating ourselves from the world. What we need to do is obey immigration laws and not hire illegal aliens. It's illegal to hire illegal aliens. But they'll do anything for money no matter how little they get paid, so people break the law. We in fact encourage all the immigration, with our frugalness.

Well that sounds like a swell idea. And while we're at it why don't we just give all of those territories back over to Mexico, so they can trive off of our hard work. We mass produce all of these things already, but we do it in factories and machines do all the work. Business don't want to pay people for the work a machine can do.
The founding father's didn't have an immigration policy, please read the Constitution and tell me in which Article it puts up an immigration policy. We didn't have one because there was no such thing, someone could land on an unoccupies part of the cost and set up camp in the 1780s. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French, so really those are the French's words not ours. The idea is good and it worked during the Elis Island years. But you have to understand not all of those people made it over either. The problem with all the Mexicans crossing over illegally, and people trying to use that Ellis Island argument, is that the people of Ellis Island actually had to pass through immigration and customs and make sure that they could get their citizenship, the Mexicans crossing the boarder don't. If they want to work here let them get a work visa like everyone else so they can pay taxes and stop putting a strain on our economy.

if your not going to contribute to the debate then don't post in it. It fails to get on my nerves when people are silent.
Any other takers out there, are shall I just lock this issue.
