FDR, the man got America through one of the toughest times it has ever been through. Plus he was going to be voted in for the thrid or forth term or something like that before he died.

Um, it's Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, not Fredrick. ^^; And there is no president with the name of William Franklin. My fav president was Reagan, but he's not up there. The Reagan Revolution, thats why.

FDR All the way, the greatest US President of all times. I think there was no one quite like him before or after his presidency. Just the fact that he was elected 4 times says that he was a popular president. Then again, it was the time of War and perhaps people were afraid to change a leader who is also doing his job well in the time like that. One may never know, there's a theory that FDR got poisoned as well, but that more of a rumor.
I don't recall any presidents by the name William Franklyn as well, don't you mean Benjamin Franklyn? He wasn't actually a president, he was just one of the people who created declaration of independence and was amoung founding fathers, never got to be president. The same true for Alexander Hamilton.

FDR was pertty good for his time. I wonder if he could handle the circumstances today. That would be an interesting thing to see. Woodrow Wilson, my Gov teacher likes him the best. For some reason, and the fact that he started the national parks, which is a great thing. He can go on my good list. ^^;

Wilson was also a good president, it's just that he ran into a lot of problems trying to pass his 14 points after World War I and also not many people were getting what he was trying to tell there, they say that he should have made his point clearer there. Also, there was a lot of contraversy during his presidency.

I forget exactly, but the 14 points was very popular among the other nations, and they all agreed with it. Some big country ended up making their own version and all the other countries signed it. The reason why it was a problem here is because something happend, and we were the only country left out of the deal. Thats what I learned anyways.

What happened was the Congress didn't approve of the 14 points, and they are the ones that enter into treaties with other countries, or say we can anyway. So Congress didn't approve so when the League of Nations was developed we were the only major country left out because Congress was being stupid (at least that's what I remember about it). Also it was Teddy Rosevelt that did the national parks thing not Woodrow Wilson.

Wow you know your history well *gives her an A+ *
You're right, I didn't noticed the national parks mistake as I was in a hurry then.
Woodraw Wilson worked really hard to apeal 14 points to the congress and to be able to bring US into the League of nations and he did managged to get Congress aproval for the most of the points and he would have been able to pass them all to the Congress to aprove them, if only there wouldn't arise new problems with those. At the end he exausted himself so much that he got really ill and died almost after his last term was over.
I think that he would have been a better president if he had an ability to state his ideas more clearly. Not everyone in the US understood clearly what he meant by many of the things that was stated by him.

But american history is so boring...=.=; I once took the test that immigrants have to take to become american citizens and I failed. Does that mean I'm not a citizen? XD
I tend to stick to current events that deal with the US. Don't care about the past, just whats happening in the here and now. Especially with everything thats going on.

It doesn't mean that you can't be a citizen. You see, if you are born here you are a citizen already and don't have to worry about knowing the information from that test. The immigrants who comming here and intend to become citizens on the other hand are trying to learn as much about history of US as they can because they really need to pass that test. I belive that what makes most immigrants more knowlegeble of US history then native born people. And you're right, US is relatively young nation and can't possible have a lot of rich history like other nations, for example Japan, China or Egypt (ancient)
But I like studing history in general and it interests me to know what had happened with other countries in the world at the given point in history of a particular nation and I always see a lot of inter connection of nations in history and it makes me want to learn more of their history to understand their role in particular world event or something like that, lol
Did I made sense?

Yes, that made sense. I don't know why I want to learn about other cultures though. I just like to for the heck of it maybe. But you hit head on with China Japan and Egypt. Those are my three favorite. X3 I was also being sarcastic about the test. I know I'm a citizen. XD Actually I think half the class failed it, so lucky it was just for fun.
